Gjennom stein - work in progress

For some years, I have been working on a project called Gjennom stein (Through rock), based on photographic and sonic investigations of stone in Iceland in 2019, which I did with my then 4-year-old daughter. The project connects play, geological facts, and science fiction, in an attempt to meet something as big as climate change and geological time. In September I will launch a photo book collecting photographs, photographs with oil pastel drawings made by my daughter and me, and a science fiction inspired essay. This will be the first publication of my new micro publishing house Manilla Press that publishes photo and artist books both in editions and unique, physically and digitally. I’m also working on making photographs for exhibition spaces.
