Gjennom stein (Through rock) is based on photographic and sonic investigations of stone in Iceland in 2019, which I did with my then 4-year-old daughter. The project connects play, geological facts, and science fiction, in an attempt to meet something as big as climate change and geological time. Soon the project will be presented as a book (on my new micro publishing house Manilla Press!), as well as exhibition prints.

In the workshop, we will look at how visual traces in a landscape can be read, and how these traces can function as witnesses of ongoing processes like destruction of nature, climate changes, or political and economic transformations.
